Crown Pointe Community Reopening of Facilities Update

May 8, 2020

Dear Crown Pointe Residents:

This letter is following up on our May 1st letter regarding the opening of Crown Pointe facilities.  Due to some confusion regarding the rules associated with the reopening of the facilities, your Crown Pointe Board met to clarify the rules regarding the use of facilities during the Corona Virus crisis.

The following additional rules will become effective immediately:

Maximum facility occupancy:
                   Tennis/Pickleball Courts                12 Persons
                   Pool                                             15 Persons
                   Clubhouse                                       10 Persons
                   Fitness Center                                   4 Persons

The 1 hour or 30 minutes time limit is effective if others are waiting.

No guests will be allowed.  Only residents may use our facilities.

For the Pool and Pool Deck, a minimum of 6 feet must be observed between individuals/families and no gatherings of groups of ten or more are allowed. The pool and deck area are large enough to have 15 persons social distance appropriately at all times. If the pool and deck are at capacity for social distancing, you should wait to enter the area until there is space. Otherwise, the Board may be forced to place a lower limit on the maximum number of persons in the area.

Certain Fitness Room equipment has been disabled to assure the 6-foot requirement is complied with. Equipment must be wiped down after each use with the bottled solution provided.

Each owner must use their own fob to access a facility.

The fob of any resident violating the rules will be disabled.

For Tennis, please click here for the USTA guidelines for playing tennis safely during this time.  For Pickleball, please click here for the USAPA guidelines for return to play. Doubles play is discouraged for those that do not reside together, you should not share balls and players should maintain the appropriate social distance of 6 feet.

The Community cannot guarantee that any of its facilities will be virus or bacteria-free.  The use of the facilities will be at your own risk.  The Association is not responsible for the sanitation of these facilities from COVID-19, and is not a guarantor of any diminished risk. Please be responsible in disinfecting areas before and after use and following all CDC and governmental guidelines.

To our knowledge, no one within Crown Pointe has been infected by the Corona Virus.  We ask if someone is diagnosed, that you contact management in confidence so that the association can sanitize any community facility area that you have recently visited.  While the community may be notified, your name will be kept confidential.

As with all our facilities, it is assumed you will adhere to the rules and be considerate of your fellow residents. These are tough times for all of us and we must show respect for all.  As you are well aware there are times when no one is monitoring your use of the facilities, except for the cameras, so be thoughtful.

ENJOY,
Crown Pointe Board of Directors
